It’s one of the best places to view crocodiles in the whole of Queensland, if not the whole of Australia, and also boasts a large selection of mammals, tropical birds, insects and reptiles.
Stroll along 2100 metres of wooden boardwalks through dense woodlands, and explore extensive wetlands on a cruise of Hartley’s lagoon. While you’re on board, you’ll spot magnificent crocodiles ranging from 2.5 metres to an impressive 5 metres in size behaving just as they would in the wild. Watch them interacting with each other, basking in the mud and floating silently through the water right in front of you; these curious reptiles come right up to the boat to see what’s going on!
